# Gemini CLI

> Set up Isthmus with Google Gemini CLI.

## Config file location

## Verify

1. Save the config file
2. Start a new Gemini CLI session
3. Ask: **"What tables are in my database?"**

## Troubleshooting

    Use the full path to the binary. The location depends on how you installed:

    * **Install script / prebuilt binary:** `/usr/local/bin/isthmus`
    * **go install:** `~/go/bin/isthmus`

    Find the path with `which isthmus`.

  <Accordion title="Config not picked up">
    Ensure the file is at `~/.gemini/settings.json`. Create the `.gemini` directory if it doesn't exist. Start a new CLI session after changes.

    Test connectivity first:
